Chasewater Heath Station

Off Miners Way

Directions and details for the Chasewater Railway can be found by following the link below.

Notes - The shed and main station are situated at Brownhills West, and this is where all stock and locos are kept, although there are a few disused wagons at the Chasewater Heath station. Access to the platform is free, aswell is the shed and museum. However, both are likely to be closed during the week, unless trains are running.

The first postcode, certain sat-navs will possibly direct you to another entrance on Pool Road. Via a locked gate, this is only used for local access to nearby houses. The alternative is the second address, which will take you off the A5 eastbound and into the Chasewater Park itself via the main entrance.

Vantage Points - The station platform gives you excellent and close up views of the locos. If the station is closed, the yard and some locos can be viewed from the level crossing, this situated by the signal box.

Photos - From the platform.
The level crossing view.

Maps - Road.
Birds eye.
Ordnance survey.

Current Allocation:

01568 - Green ( doesn't carry any numbers at present )
08359 - BR green ( carries its pre-tops number D3429 )

Occassionally has a shunter visiting from the LH Group and Goodmans Yard for testing / running in.
