Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
Station Road
HP22 4BY

Directions and details for the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre can be found by following the link below.

Notes - There are two car parks ( main and overspill ), both free and providing many spaces. Access to the railway requires an entrance fee, but prices seem to depend on what day you arrive, as different events cost more than others. The area is huge and offers a wide variety of traction and has something to offer for all ages. All areas on are on one level, so wheelchair users and the unsteady on their feet shouldn't have too many problems to negotiate.

Vantage Points - If your visit coincides with the railway being closed, then some of the stock can be seen from the railway bridge, this located by the main car park. However, you will miss a large chunk, as there are no other vantage points in the area. The gates will obviously be closed, the view from these offering nothing other than the car park !

Photos - The view from the railway bridge.
View of the northern end of the yard from the station footbridge.
View of the southern end from the main footbridge.

Maps - Road.
          Birds eye.
          Ordnance survey.

Current Allocation:

01585 - MoD green
D2298 - BR green
